In like a lion and out like a lamb, here's the artists and tracks reviewed during March 2014 over at Getting Near Dawn.
It's a great time of year for music bloggers and March 2014 has surfaced a bumper crop of new music.
This month, we have covered
the Sixties-sun-drenched with We Are Catchers, Gregory Pepper and the bright, new talent of Paul Orwell.
We have the fuzz and the swirl of new British psych through Flashes and Carina Nebula.
Some heaviness provided by GHXST and Franklin.
There's clindie and harmonic folk from Wooden Arms, The Cadbury Sisters and Bridie Jackson.
What about some leccy blips and atmos from Bernard + Edith and The Acid?
Who can forget the indie-pop-ulikes from The New Union, Osca, High Hazels and Flyte?
A mention must also go to Jord Allen, Bolton's rocket troubadour.
To read about the above and more, the full March review listings are available here: http://www.gettingneardawn.com/2014_03_01_archive.html.
While you're listening, why not follow us at twitter.com/gettingneardawn so you're first to know when we dish out April's treats?
Finally, a big thank you to the thousands of you who have visited in the last month and a special thanks to those who contacted us too. Jim x
